HALE Enterprises has two main locations - one in Woodbury, NJ, a suburb of Philadelphia and the other in West Los Angeles. Launched in 2002, HALE has expanded nationally through direct sales and Internet marketing and we have thousands of satisfied customers all across America.

We have well established administrative, customer service and shipping capabilities. Our Company is a respected member of the South Jersey and Los Angeles business communities and we have long-standing relationships with many of the finest manufacturers in the United States and abroad.

Our Business Strategy

Our market research has shown that there’s a vast knowledge gap that exists in America. Nutrition is a complex subject. There are thousands of nutrition products out there and few people have the time to independently research what’s best for them.

Furthermore, many products have synthetic components, lower than ideal dosages and are missing key nutrients.

Many of the top selling vitamins leave a lot to be desired in terms of product quality because so much of their budget must be spent on advertising and marketing. As a result, they must cut corners in terms of formulation and raw materials.

Limitations of the Retail Channel:

When products are sold off the shelf in a retail setting the two most important considerations (after advertising and marketing which create demand) at the point of sale are pricing and packaging. In many retail settings, there are so many products and so much employee turnover it can be difficult to find meaningful help and customers are left to fend for themselves amongst hundreds of different products.

“Quality” in nutritional supplements is difficult to discern. Formulations can be compared but that is only part of the equation. As a result of all the confusion, many people just opt out of taking supplements or simply choose the nationally advertised brands.

The HALE Approach:

Our strategy has been to provide value-added service through consumer education. Once a customer understands the differences, the choice becomes pretty clear. This has been our approach from day one and it has helped HALE to become one of the fastest growing nutritional supplement companies in the Country.

By creating a marketing plan that rewards individuals for sharing this knowledge with others, HALE has created a valuable link. Early on we discovered that satisfied customers were our best source of new customers. When Mary Burton of Albuquerque, NM lost 25 pounds taking our Healthy Weight product, she sent 9 new customers to us. We also noticed that our Affiliates became very loyal customers. They studied about nutrition and about our products in order to share knowledge with their customers. That knowledge clicked for them and created a life-long commitment to our products.

It was a relatively simple connection to make to bring these two powerful facets of our business together and create the HALE Internet Affiliate Program.

Company Structure and Management:

HALE Enterprises is a division of HALE Concepts, Inc., a New Jersey Corporation. The Corporation is privately held with 12 entrepreneurs as shareholders. These owners represent over 200 years of individual business experience from diversified industries and several billion dollars in corporate sales.

The President and CEO of HALE is Don Freda. Mr. Freda founded HALE in the fall of 2002 and worked closely with scientists from the University of Pennsylvania in the formulation of the HALE product line.

Don has a business career that spans over 3 decades and includes several very successful business start-ups that became tremendously profitable companies in their own right. In doing so, Don Freda has opened the door to opportunity and success for hundreds of business people across America and many have reached millionaire status working in Companies that Don launched.

Don and his wife of 36 years, Teresa, live in South Jersey. They have two married sons (both of who are involved with HALE) and 4 beautiful grandchildren.
